Why is Hemp Milk the better alternative for you?

When you think of milk, the first thing that comes to your mind is a cow. However, the number of people choosing plant-based alternatives to cow’s milk appears to be growing. Surprisingly enough, we are the only species on planet Earth that consumes milk from another specie.

Research suggests that drinking cows milk is not really good and beneficial to your body as you think it is. Have you ever wondered why such a large percentage of the population is now becoming lactose intolerant? If cows milk was so good for you, why is this happening? There are also a lot of ethical and hygiene-related reasons as to why we should not consume cows milk, but that’s a story for another day!

Hemp Milk nutrition: -

Hemp milk is highly nutritious and loaded with proteins and healthy fats. In fact, it has more protein and healthy fats than other popular plant-based types of milk, including rice and almond milk.

Have you ever imagined drinking milk which is loaded with unsaturated essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 & 6, proteins such as Edestin and albumin (the protein which gives eggs its glory) which are very digestible sources of protein? It’s one of few plant-based complete proteins, as it contains all 20 amino acids and 9 essential amino acids that humans need from external sources.

Hemp Milk is made from Hemp Hearts which is highly nutritious and provides a wide array of benefits.

Finally, hemp milk is naturally free of soy, lactose, and gluten, making it a good option for people who need or want to avoid these components.

How to use Hemp Milk?

Hemp milk can be used in place of cow’s milk and added to your diet in many ways.

Hemp milk can be consumed on its own or added to hot and cold cereal, baked goods, and smoothies.

Due to its creamy consistency and protein content, hemp milk is excellent for making lattes, cappuccinos and other coffee drinks.

The best part about Hemp Milk is that unlike other plant-based milk out there you don’t need to wake up in the middle of the night to soak your seeds. You can make it right at home in under 3 minutes, and store it in the refrigerator so it stays fresh the entire week. So you know exactly what goes into your milk.
